This afternoon class is suitable both for beginners who want to learn how to meditate and for those who may already practice another form of meditation or related discipline, such as yoga, but who want to learn more about mindfulness. Mindfulness has been shown to have many benefits and is a core foundation of any meditation practice, helping us to develop our awareness and presence in each and every moment.
This course will be focussed on practice, with all meditation sessions guided by Zeenat Cameron. We will explore a few different mindfulness techniques, including mindfulness of breathing and body scan meditation, two essential practices for health and wellbeing. There will be ample time for questions, sharing and discussion, and by the end of the day you will have the tools to continue practising by yourself.
