Meditate on Pleasure


When Enjoying, Enter into the Pleasure

Our senses are the gateways to pleasure, and also to heightened states of awareness and consciousness.  When we give our full attention to the experiences of our senses - when eating a meal, watching a sunset, or feeling a loved one's caress - the quality of our awareness is enhanced and the experience is much richer and more deeply fulfilling than when we don't give it our time or attention. Being fully in touch with the sensations, we become blissfully present to our moment to moment experience. 

So choose a sensory experience you really enjoy - say eating your favourite food, smelling the flowers in your bedroom, or lying in the bath. Give it your full awareness, relax, and simply let yourself receive the sensations in your body.
